Wide, open spaces, steady winds, long empty sandy beach (no swimmers, no rocks, no coral) with strong onshore and cross-shore winds (everyday during the season, like clockwork, unlike even the other nearby sites). We are open all year round. wind high season is mid December - end of April, June-August is mid season, with good wind again.

The Destination

Cartagena is known as one of the most beautiful colonial cities in South America. It's a vibrant urban center today, safe and striving. And is offers some amazing beaches and kitesurfing spots. But our camp location even tops this by offering an uncrowded beach just 25 minutes out of Cartagena (there is a free shuttle). The perfect place to combine both the peaceful countryside and the possibility to visit the vibrant city nearby.

The Experience

Join our camp at one of the best kitesurfing spots on the Colombian coast, and learn kiting or improve your skills on a pristine uncrowded beach just 25 minutes from Cartagena. It's such a great place to learn and practice, as there is so much space and it's only us on the spot.

  • If you're a kitesurfing beginner, we get you on the board within nine hours of lessons (within three or four days). In the first lesson you get to know the equipment, security systems, and the maneuvers of the kite on the beach. Already in the second hour we will go into the water, where you learn body drag, more kite handling and the relaunch. Normally in the fourth hour, we give you the board, and usually after nine hours, you know how to do the water start and ride on both sides. IKO-Certification possible if wanted.

  • If you're an advanced kiter, we teach you whatever you want to learn - just let us know!

  • We use the latest kitesurf equipment from CORE Kites and Boards (Germany), one of the best brands out there.

Day Trips to Puerto Velero

Only an hour from Manzanillo there is Puerto Velero, where the sea is flat and the wind is strong. A great spot for beginners with shallow water and little people. Is there not enough wind in Cartagena we make a little trip to Puerto Velero. Departure aprox by 10 in the morning, returning about 7.30 pm. Costs: 50'000 Pesos for the trip and whatever you kite.
