On average we have between 15 - 20 knots. During the winter months (October - February) the wind normally is a little stronger and on some days we have north winds coming in, with up to 25 knots. During the spring/summer months (March - June) the wind normally is a bit lighter. During the winter months we recommend to bring a wetsuit as the water can be cold. In the spring/summer months the water normally is quite warm and only a lycra for sun protection is recommended. Average kite size: 9m to 15m

The Destination

Tarifa is known as THE European kiteboarding capital, a magical and fun city. The landscape of the surrounding area channels the wind, which almost always blows, either easterly and westerly (levante or poniente) - creating the ideal place for wind and water sports such as kitesurfing

The Experience

At this camp it's all about training and improving your skills. You join Alex on his tough daily training workload - and you will learn those incredible freestyle tricks from him, you've always dreamt of mastering. Experience the real stuff with one of the best - and get yourself to the next level. Apart from that, Tarifa has of course so much to offer: It's not only one of the best kitesurfing destinations in Europe, but one of the liveliest, too. You can have a lot of fun at night.. But our recommendation would be: Learn hard five days with Alex - and party hard a few more days afterwards..

Alex Pastor Kite Club is a World Champion’s Kite Club. At age 15 he came to live in Tarifa and still hasn’t left. He spends here most of the time and after 8 years training in Tarifa he managed to win his first world title. Is there a trick that you want to learn and you don't know where to start?
