Sit back and relax on a luxurious catamaran as we take you to some of the best kite spots hidden among 1000+ islands on the Adriatic Islands off the coast of Croatia. From flat water lagoons to long downwinders on longer sails, you will experience a variety of conditions. The wind is a warm thermal wind from the NW (maestral). Kite sizes range from 8-12m are used and available on board with suitable boards including foil, twin tip and directional. In early season (May-June) a 3/2 mm full suit is recommended. After that a shorty or long arm shorty 3/2 mm is enough. In August sea temperature rise to 27-28 degrees so a wetsuit is not necessary.

The Destination

The cruise runs from Saturday to Saturday and the meeting spot is at the marina in Split on the mainland.

Kiteboarding

Visit best spots for kiteboarding in Croatia, from flat water freestyle lagoons to long downwinders on longer sails. Our cruising itinerary is based on the weather forecast, so we sail with the wind. At every kiteboard spot we provide safety and knowledge about kiteboarding in this area.

Lessons

We offer private kiteboarding lessons and coaching, freestyle and foil clinics. Available for riders at all levels.

Other Activities

Extra activities such as snorkelling, wakeboarding, SUP, hiking and cliff jumping will be organized. A guide to the best local restaurants and culture is included.

Accommodation

We will sail on a luxurious catamaran which comfortably carries 8 guests. The trampoline offers a beautiful lounging area complete with bean bag chairs so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Also a perfect place for star gazing in the evenings! There is a covered dining area in the stern offering a comfortable and practical place to enjoy meals. Bedrooms consist of two person cabins each with a private bathroom.

Blaz is your host for this experience and will provide you with all the information needed.

Already as a six year old kid I was fascinated by the sea and water sports when I started sailing in a local sailing club. In 2007 a friend introduced me to kiteboarding at the river Neretva in Croatia. I was immediately hooked with this, at the time, relatively new sport. Years later I was teaching kiteboarding in Croatia as a member of the Neretva kiteboarding school and in 2016 I obtained IKO certificate. Besides teaching kiteboarding, I organized kite trips to Brazil and Egypt, and organized sport events to engage people in different activities such as sailing, climbing and kiteboarding on the Slovene coast. In 2018 I obtained a boat skipper license up to 30 GT and in 2019 yachtmaster license up to 100 GT. The idea to combine kiteboarding and sailing arised end of last year. Kite & cruise project was launched early 2019 and first trip was organized in May.
