Summary
The kite beaches Papaturro and Copal are together about 2 km long. They don't have shore break waves, as they are inside a bay (Bahia Salinas). This makes the spot very safe for any kitesurfer level. There is always the option to downwind up to 2 kms from the kite beaches. There are no people or boats around for you to worry about. As the wind blows all day long, you can kite as much as you want and be relaxed when taking a break as you won't miss anything. And no worries that it would get too crowded as there are usually a maximum of 20 kites in the water at the same time from 6 am to 6 pm. The wind is Side on Shore and typically the wind blows more then 300 days per year, guaranteed. It is one of the best spots in the world in regard to the number of windy days in the year! The water is fairly flat and gets choppy only with more then 20 knots. Most used kites are 7 and 9. Shorty can be useful between January and March, when the wind reaches up to 40 knots once in while and this makes the water a bit chilly.

The Experience
Our sole goal is to create an unforgettable kite vacation for you and we will take care of you all day long. After a full energetic breakfast (between 7:00 am and 8:30 am) the meeting point is outside the reception. We leave all together toward the kitebeach around 9:00 am. In this way you'll easily get connected with the other kitesurfers.
We are in the best spot of the beach, for the benefit and safety of our clients. It is the more upwind location, at the really end of Playa Copal, that means: side shore wind, more flat water, the closer to the reef you can get and a lot of space for launching and landing the kites even with high tide; the rest of Copal beach have almost no space and unfortunately can´t offer that.
We’ll have lunch right on the beach. Around 1:00 pm we’ll bring the warm launch ordered during breakfast. There are rustic tables, chairs and hammocks to enjoy it, under the shade of the trees and a roof of palms leaves. After a warm shower it’s time to eat dinner choosing from our rotating menu and the famous pizza (4 times per week)!
Finally we’ll hang out together at the Restaurant area, listening or playing recorded or live music (guitar and key board are available, so musicians are welcome), watching movies or videos and the pictures of the day, sharing life stories together. Table football in the terrace is an option to have fun too. The beach is 250 m away so you can take a night walk to enjoy the view of millions of stars and keep going with the party!
Our restaurant is specialised in local and mediterranean food but we also organise special nights with home made wood-oven pizza and BBQ. We care a lot about on cleanness, healthy food and a nice and friendly atmosphere with good music.
High Comfort and Support
Guests can store the kite gear in the free storage boxes on the Hotel Pick up and eventually return later to the beach to have the freedom to go and come back whenever they want. We have 2 free shuttles to the kitebeach. The 2/3 instructors of the Blue Dream Kitesurfing school will stay during the day on the beach with you, kiting together, doing lessons, renting gear, video/photo shooting and help you around.
Our shuttle pick up will drive right there, exactly where you launch the kite, so this is the only way that exist where you don´t need to walk with your gear at all!
